Angela Gillespie

Angela Gillespie joined the Office of Public Affairs in 2006 as a graphic designer. She contributes to various Cal State San Bernardino publications that support recruitment efforts, academic programs, various events and other campus activities. She also serves on creative teams for the university’s visual identity, admission recruitment efforts, and the university’s Web site Management Committee.
Gillespie’s designs contribute to the face of the university, including the university home page, the Admissions and Student Recruitment viewbook, Web site, and other support material. Her recruitment and marketing design efforts at Cal State San Bernardino were recognized in the 22nd annual Admissions Advertising Awards national competition, including a first-place gold award for a 2007 calendar design.
As a steward of CSUSB’s new visual identity, she oversees the distribution of the university logo and monitors its usage on publications produced throughout the campus.
Previously, Gillespie worked six years for California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, providing graphic design for the College of Extended University’s marketing and publication needs. She was responsible for designing the college’s course bulletin, program brochures, a handful of Web sites and various other marketing support materials for the college.
Gillespie earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from California State University, San Bernardino in 1999. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in integrated marketing communication from California State University, San Bernardino.
