Office of Public Affairs

Copy Editing

The Office of Public Affairs has adopted a particular literary style based upon the following primary reference sources: The Associated Press Style Book and Libel Manual, “The Elements of Style” by Strunk and White and Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary. All are the generally accepted guides for style and usage in the majority of publications. If we recommend substantive changes in your copy, we will discuss them with you. In any case, you will be asked to review and proofread the final text as the graphic design process begins.
